Pro's Tip
A challenging opening hole that plays its full length and a long drive is essential for the green to be considered. With a green sloping from the left it is wise to favour the right side especially if laying up – do not short side yourself. As with many holes on the New course, shots need to pitch on the green to avoid the severe run-off areas.
